Here's what you'll learn from Elena, Founder of SkillScout:
How external validation led to a worthiness conundrum.
The raw reality of what it's like to fight for your team so they can feed their families.
How she redefined success in 2020 not as growth but rather what she wanted to be remembered for as a leader.
How do you bounce back after losing 50% of revenues?
I’ve never cried during a podcast interview until I interviewed Elena Valentine.
I wanted to interview Elena on how she scaled her company to 7-figures bootstrapped.
However, it was of the most meaningful conversations I’ve had about leading through a storm.
Elena's storm was the pandemic stripping her company of 50% of revenues in 2020.
The entrepreneurial ecosystem tends to discuss when people failed or when they succeed.
But what about what it’s like to fall? To get back up? To keep going?
THESE moments define GREAT leaders & companies.
Here's what you'll learn from Elena, Founder of SkillScout:

How Startups Scale Unintended Consequences (Kate O'Neill, KO Insights) - Get Sh!t Done Podcast
Kate O’Neill, founder of the Tech Humanist will teach you:
How companies scale unintended consequences.
How to be a tech humanist.
The 3 things we need to understand to scale technology that creates meaning and meaningful experiences.
What to do when your company f*cks up.
Best practices for centering humanity during scale through purpose.
“Purpose is the shape meaning takes in business.”
This should be the motto for 2021 for ALL companies.
From Facebook to Google to The Wing, the entrepreneurial ecosystem has scaled bad practices and behaviors that have hurt many people.
I don’t think these founders had bad intentions.
Quite the contrary.
I truly believe that each of these founders had a vision for helping people that turned sour while scaling.
How?
We perpetuate growth for growth’s sake to saturate markets quickly. While “intentions” may be to serve more people while yielding BIG returns, many of these companies forget to put the very people they claim to serve at the center and harm them in the process.
Remember when Google used the motto “Don’t do evil”?
They don’t use it anymore.
As we forge into 2021, I hope all companies can get clear on who they serve and the purpose of serving them.
Otherwise, why should what you do matter to us?
Kate O’Neill, founder of the Tech Humanist will help you answer that very question. Here’s what you’ll learn:
How companies scale unintended consequences.
How to be a tech humanist.
The 3 things we need to understand to scale technology that creates meaning and meaningful experiences.
What to do when your company f*cks up.
Best practices for centering humanity during scale through purpose.

Sexual Wellness for Female Founders (Ashley Cobb, Bedtanicals) - Get Sh!t Done Podcast
Here’s what you’re going to learn from Ashley Cobb, founder of Bedtanicals:
The #1 tip that will make your life SO much easier.
How solo sex can be apart of your self-care routine.
How to communicate your needs.
Tips, tricks, and tools to use to navigate dating in quarantine.
Sexual wellness will be valued at $108B. People need it but entrepreneurs run away from talking about it.
When we talk about wellness in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, it’s typically about:
Meditation
Working out
Affirmations/Visualizations
When we talk about sex in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, it’s typically about:
Sexual harassment from the predators we allow to galavant around the ecosystem because too many people prioritize money and power over people’s actual well being.
The sex startups started by men so they can get it to work again or prevent hair loss.
Sex as founders doesn’t have to be shunned nor weaponized.
It’s actually important that we take back its power if it’s apart of our lives.
However, it’s EXTREMELY hard to prioritize it when you’re a busy founder building a business, trying to be a good friend, parent, partner, friend, or just breathe and be human.
Sex can be apart of your wellness routine and can be an asset.
The good news is that you can figure out ways to make it apart of your wellness routine regardless of whether you’re single or taken.
Your favorite Sexpert, Ashley Cobb, founder of Bedtanicals knows all about the struggles around building a business and balancing a sex life.
Here’s what you’re going to learn from Ashley:
The #1 tip that will make your life SO much easier.
How solo sex can be apart of your self-care routine.
How to communicate your needs.

“He’s given me all of the cheat codes for the Old Boys Club.”
The majority of my mentors as a young entrepreneur were guys in finance. I did not plan it that way but it’s exactly what I needed at the time.
If you’re an OG Get Sh!t Done Queen, you’ve heard me say this before:
Entrepreneurship is 1% Talent, 48% Hard Work, and 51% who you know. Periodt.
“I say self made, meanin' I designed myself” - Nipsey Hussle
Every successful entrepreneur I know didn't do it alone. They learned how to lean into how they were designed to be great instead of focusing on their weaknesses AND surrounded themselves with the people that filled the gaps.
But finding mentors can be intimidating AF & gaining access to meaningful mentorship means stripping out of the facade.
Thanks to the Queen of Mentorship, Janice Omadeke, Founder of the Mentor Method, she’s going to walk you through how to gain meaningful mentorship, regardless of what stage you’re at. And NO! It’s never too late to be mentored.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
How to identify the mentors you need based on your skillset gaps.
Where to find em’ & get referrals.
Tips for outreach when you’re in your head.
How to navigate & nurture the relationship.

You Good, Queen? How Female Founders Can Practice Self-Care & Vulnerability (Tiffany Yu, Diversability) - Get Sh!t Done Podcast
Learn from Tiffany Yu, founder of Diversability on how women entrepreneurs can practice self-care.
Tech is not the most important asset in your company. Physical assets are not the most important asset in your company. YOU are the most important asset in your company. PERIODT.
"It's okay not to be okay sometimes" - Tiffany Yu, Founder of Diversability
We run ourselves into the ground for everything and everyone else and sacrifice our well-being for what? Self-care should be as high of a priority as hitting sales goals, actually higher. There's no spreadsheet, no email, no meeting, that's more important than your well-being.
If you are not functioning at your optimal, everything else around you will fall apart, including your company. Tiffany A. Yu, MSc (she/her), Founder of Diversability Inc., is one of my favorite entrepreneurs who champions self-care without the bullshit. She promotes it amongst her team, transparent and willing to call herself out with compassion when she’s not showing up for herself.
