I have been rejected by TONS of investors!

From my 1st business at 19 to my last company where I raised from VCs.

At some point, we started putting conversion rates on the pipeline of investors from outreach to conversations to checks closed. This forced us to think logically through the No’s instead of taking it personally.

However, I didn’t know to do that until years into pitching!

More importantly, I wish I would have known that EVERY single investor meeting could become a Yes.

The “Yes” may not be a check but there are SOOO many other invaluable things that you can gain from investor meetings that can help move your business forward.

If you’re a female founder fundraising, you should be looking for your “Yes” in EVERY single investor.

Learn how from Jihan Thompson, founder of Swivel Beauty:

  • What to do before every investor meeting to get a Yes even if it’s not a check.

  • How to be prepared for and treat No’s

  • Questions to ask when you get a No

  • How No’s can make your pitch better

  • Self-care tips for handling constant rejection to keep you going
