👋 Meet, Corinne Vargas, founder of SmartCharts and member of the Get Sh!t Done community.
✊ HOW SHE’S SCALING IMPACT
SMARTCharts is driven by a deep passion for therapeutic rehabilitation. This commitment stems from the personal experience of its founder and CEO, whose journey supporting her mother after a brain aneurysm and stroke inspired the creation of a transformative tool designed to support, inform, and motivate patients and their families. With a unique background as an actuary turned speech-language pathologist, the founder recognized the power of data, knowledge, and advocacy but also identified a critical need for a more accessible way to visualize and track vital progress information.
This realization marked the beginning of SMARTCharts. The initial iteration of the platform took shape as a series of Excel spreadsheets aimed at automating patient notes while making progress visible and tangible for patients. What started as a simple yet impactful solution evolved into a comprehensive platform that now enables healthcare organizations to reduce paperwork, enhance productivity, and empower patients with easy access to clinical information. Through every iteration, SMARTCharts remains committed to improving healthcare operations, one chart at a time.
